Online Shopping for Crystals – your mini guide to finding your rockstar besties
Ordering crystals online is a little bit different to shopping in a physical crystal store, as you’re not able to pick up the crystal that’s caught your eye and get a feel of it, or its energy. This doesn’t mean you can’t or shouldn’t order online though, as it can a great way to tap into your intuition / gut feeling.
Buying personal crystals should be a simple and intuitive process. Very often the first crystal to catch your eye is the crystal which holds the most magic for you. Crystals have a wonderful way of grabbing our attention when they know we need them, and this can also work through photos – that’s why, even though filtered and jazzed up photos are pleasing to some on social media, none of our photos have been edited, and very often you’ll see natural & indoor images so that you can see items in various environments.

To shop via your intuition, close your eyes and take a deep breath and try to clear your mind. Then either whisper or say in your head “please guide me towards what I’m needing today”, and start your shopping.
Another great way to intuitively grow your collection is to pay attention to what images or keywords jump out at you while you’re scrolling through.
If a particular item seems to pop out at you and you’re not sure why, don’t just skip past it as it might be in front of you for a reason. If you’re confused about whether to buy a crystal that just appears or not, close your eyes and imagine where you are in life, then picture this crystal with you. If it feels comfortable, then it’s highly likely you’d benefit from the random crystal. If you’re still not sure, add the item to your wishlist so that you can check back on it at a later date.
Tip for choosing a crystal online:
Don’t overthink it- the crystal that naturally catches your eye or imagination is usually the one holding specific magic for your unique needs, wishes and healing.
Shopping via my website:
The search bar on the website holds all your answers ❤
If you know what kind of crystal it is you’re after, you can easily pop the name of the crystal in the search bar on the website. Currently it’s quite particular about spellings, so make sure you enter it correctly (we’re currently tweeking the site so that if you’ve spelt something wrong, the closest matches will still appear, so please bear with us on that).
ITo search for a crystal to help with a specific issue, you can also do a keyword search in the search bar, by putting in your issue (anxiety / loneliness / trauma etc) in the search bar which you can find on the top of the website pages, and also to the right hand side of the page. This will show you all the items we have that could help with that specific issue.
I’m also currently working my way through the stock and colour tagging everything and adding the chakras each stone resonates with, so if you feel you’re in a red crystal mood, you can search for red crystals, all the red crystals will appear in the search. There are a number of items already done, but as you can imagine, with all the items I currently have in stock, it’s taking a while 😉
A newly added shopping feature is that you can shop by symptom via the shop dropdown arrow on the website (if shopping via desktop, it will appear if you just hover over “shop”). This is also a work in progress, so not everything is tagged to every symptom listed, but it shouldn’t be too long before it’s finished. You’ll find the common symptoms listed, eg: anxiety, sleep, children, fertility.
I’ve tried to note down as many healing benefits as I can on each item, but as you can imagine, crystals can help with so much, so even if you’ve searched for a specific issue and it’s popped up in the search results, yet there’s no mention of the issue in the written information, it will still be of benefit, it’ll just be that I’d have run out of space to mention it fully.
I hope all these options help you find your crystal, but don’t forget that if you’re unsure what crystal you’re wanting, you can always post a question in the group, or send me a message on The Little Crystal Lounge main page.
