Our Satin Spar eye shaped bowls are just glorious!
Measures approx 11cm each, but as they’re handmade, please allow for some slight differences in size.
This gorgeous bowl is a must have for any crystal collector – not only is it a gorgeous piece to have on your shelf or table, it will also cleanse any crystals that you store in it, as well as surrounding you with it’s healing benefits.
Satin Spar is a really useful crystal for helping to clear energy blocks as well as raising your vibration.
It can also bring good luck and good fortune.
It’s also a must have for women as it can help regulate hormones and issues surrounding PMS and your menstrual cycle. It’s an extremely calming stone which soothes the mind and brings clarity. If you suffer with insomnia or other sleeping issues, this is the perfect stone to have by your bedside.
How to use for cleansing your crystals: when you feel like your crystals are getting heavy, or if you have a busy day ahead, place your crystals that you’ve worn or planning on wearing in the bowl for 4+ hours. Use your intuition to guide you on how long they need to be cleansed for, and once you feel they’re ready, you’ll be prepared to face the world!
You can also store little trinkets and special items in the bowl if you wish. Just be careful that you don’t get it wet, as it is water sensitive and can disintegrate when it comes into contact with water. This certainly isn’t a crystal for the bathroom.
Each bowl measures approx 11cm, but as this item is handshaped, please allow for some slight differences.
🌀 Wait, isn’t this Selenite?
Great question, and one we hear a lot!
This crystal is Satin Spar, which has been commonly mis-named Selenite.
Satin Spar is the one you’ll see most often in shops – it has a milky, fibrous look with a soft, satin-like shimmer. It’s sturdy enough to be shaped into wands, palm stones, and towers, which makes it super practical for everyday energy work.
True Selenite is much rarer. It forms in clear, flat plates with a glassy finish and is very fragile, so it’s not commonly used for carving or handling.
Energetically, both are known for their calming, cleansing, and high-vibe properties. But Satin Spar has a slightly softer, more grounding feel, which makes it ideal for day-to-day use, especially for cleansing other crystals or creating a calm, clear energy around you.
We’ve labelled this piece clearly as Satin Spar (Selenite), and our True Selenite pieces can be found here, so you know exactly what you’re getting.
