Celebrate Your Inner Goddess: A Self-Love Moonstone Bath Ritual

Let’s be real—when was the last time you truly slowed down and poured love into yourself? Not a rushed shower, not a quick splash of face mist before bed, but a moment where you fully, unapologetically basked in your own divine energy?

If you’re overdue for some serious self-care (and let’s be honest, most of us are), this Goddess Bath Ritual is for you. Think of it as a soul-deep soak in self-love—wrapped in warmth, scented with roses, and infused with the soft, nurturing glow of Moonstone. Whether you’re new to crystal baths or already have a candlelit bathtub aesthetic worthy of Pinterest, this ritual will help you embrace your inner goddess and give yourself the love you deserve.

Celebrate Your Inner Goddess: A Self-Love Moonstone Bath Ritual

This ritual is designed to help you embrace your inner goddess, reconnect with yourself, and soak in the energy of self-love. Let this be a time to honour yourself, just as you are.

What You’ll Need:
Moonstone
– Enhances self-compassion, intuition, and emotional balance, and is full of Goddess energy
Dried rose petals – Symbol of love and beauty
Lavender – Calms the mind and nurtures the soul
(Side note – we have Himalayan Bath Salt blends which contain rose petals and lavender seeds which you can find here)
A spoonful of honey (optional) – Softens and nourishes your skin, bringing in sweetness and self-kindness
Essential Oils:
Rose
– Opens the heart and invites deep self-love
Ylang Ylang – Encourages sensuality and joy
Sandalwood – Grounds and connects you to your divine feminine energy
Candles – Soft lighting to create a sacred, peaceful space. I’d recommend either our Aphrodisiac soy wax candle, or our Red, Pink or white spell candles, but regular candles will also be fine.

Step-by-Step Ritual:
1. Set the Mood
Dim the lights, light a few candles, and play soothing music if you like. Take a deep breath and set an intention for this bath—something as simple as “I honour and love myself.”

2. Prepare the Water
Fill your bath with warm water and add:
A handful of dried rose petals and lavender
A spoonful of honey (if using)
A few drops of rose, ylang ylang, or sandalwood essential oil
Swirl everything together, letting the water become infused with self-love energy.

3. Add Your Moonstone
Place your Moonstone on the edge of the bath or hold it in your hand for a moment. Feel its soothing energy wash over you. If it’s tumbled and water-safe, you can gently place it in the bath, but if it’s raw then please place it as close as the bath as possible.

4. Sink In and Soak
As you relax, close your eyes and repeat this affirmation: “I am a divine being of love, worthy of care, joy, and softness.”

Let yourself fully receive—this is your time to be nurtured, just like a goddess.

5. Seal the Ritual
Before you step out, thank yourself for taking this moment. Hold your Moonstone and whisper an affirmation of self-love, like “I am radiant, intuitive, and deeply loved.”

When you’re ready, drain the water, imagining any lingering self-doubt or negativity washing away.

Because You Deserve It

Self-love isn’t just about fancy bath rituals (though let’s be honest, they’re pretty magical). It’s about showing up for yourself daily, in small but meaningful ways. This Moonstone bath is a sacred pause – a moment to remind yourself that you are worthy of care, kindness, and goddess-level devotion.

So light those candles, sink into the warmth, and let yourself be loved – by you.

And if you need an excuse to do this more than once? Self-love is a practice, not a one-time event. (That’s my way of saying: run the bath, again and again.)

Lots of love,
